Make Me Up So I Can Go Go

While I was on San Vicente in Brentwood heading back to the office, this beautiful store front caught my eye. Gorgeous. Clean. Great bold colors…what was this place? I had to go inside.  MakeUp and Go! is the perfect place to get your makeup done for a night out on the town. It’s SO MUCH BETTER than going to the Chanel counter at Neiman’s where you have a 3 item min purchase, because here there is NO PURCHASE NECESSARY! Appointments aren’t a must, but having one is always better. They have plenty of artists for walk-in’s and great hours since most nights they are open until 8 pm, and sometimes open as early as 8 am.

A touch up starts at only $18, which would be perfect for that dinner date when you are coming from the office. Or, you can start with a fresh canvas for $35 (Go! Flawless) or step it up to an evening look with lashes for $60 (Go! All Out). They also offer airbrushing a la carte for $20 per body part.

On top of that, watch out Dry Bar, you can also sit down to be even more pampered with a blow dry at their sister salon called Bubble Blow Dry You can get a 30 minute blow dry for $35, the same price just about everywhere in town. Why not come here for both?

So, you can take an hour and a half to get pampered with hair & make-up and be good to go. Also, for all those guys reading this, they do gift certificates in all amounts, perfect for a birthday, anniversary or just to say “knock yourself out” with a special few hours just for you.

For the first 10 readers who call in and book an appointment, mention my blog and you’ll get 10% off! Their number is 310.451.6253.
