Chicken and Corn Summer Chowder

I was at the market and bought a copy of Sunset Magazine.  The cover photo really sold me, but when I actually looked through it I was shocked to find about 10 recipes I would make.  So I decided to try the Chicken and Corn Summer Chowder and it did not disappoint.

I bought a simple rotisserie chicken and followed the recipe exactly, except for adding bacon (just not my thing but I’m sure it would have enhanced the flavor).  It was light, colorful and so good-with a salad to start-a great, easy soup. Only annoying thing was peeling the potatoes. Now I need a good manicure.
