Fashion’s Night Out-Beverly Hills & West Hollywood

Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) is an unprecedented global initiative founded by Vogue and the Council of Fashion Designers of America that was created to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry’s economy, and put the fun back in shopping.  For more information on the cause check out Fashion’s Night Out.

But here in LA, it’s on September 10th from 6 to 10 pm and Rodeo Drive will erect the first-ever Ferris Wheel on the street, with shoppers receiving complimentary rides with proof of purchases made that evening. The evening will include in-store events, cocktail parties and extended shopping hours for all guests.

Things to look for: Chanel will be offering free manicures with the new collection of polishes, Lacoste is staging a Wii tennis tournament, Valentino is having a casino night and DJs Super Mash Bros. will be spinning at Emporio Armani. Gourmet food trucks including Border Grill Truck, Frysmith Truck, The Gastro Bus, The Grilled Cheese Truck, the Sprinkles Mobile and others will line Rodeo Drive for some tasty bites.

Another fun event I heard about is happening at Saks Fifth Avenue, where you can enjoy an evening filled with makeovers, hair styling, backstage style tips, red carpet photos, a private VIP lounge and more! It costs $25 a ticket but gives you 15% off any purchases, with 5% of sales going to charity. Buy your tickets here.

But it doesn’t stop there, because now West Hollywood wants in. There will be free shuttle services from the Sunset Strip to Melrose to get shoppers to some participating stores like Vera Wang, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Nicole Miller and Coco de Mer.

Sounds like fun, but I’ll be on Rodeo darling….
