Pancakes are the order of the day at LA Weekly’s Second Annual Pancake Breakfast this Sunday August 5th downtown at Vibiana ($30; click here to purchase), a lot of pancakes, including somewhat-classic versions from the Nickel Diner, Hungry Cat, BLD and Salt’s Cure, and okonomiyaki from Gottsui. There will be coffee too, provided by Tasting Table favorite Cafecito Orgánico, and an open bar as well, should you prefer a Bloody Mary with your flapjacks. Vibiana, 214 S.
